It is difficult to remember what information a new person in your person may need to know to be made to feel welcome and empowered to confidently begin their role in your team.
An employee manual is a great way to ensure that your new recruit has all the information that they require, even if someone forgets to tell them!
Detailing information such as operating hours, workplace policies and community information, the manual will be written specifically for your organisation and on completion, ready to print (or email!) to give to your next recruit. They can also be incorporated straight into online HR apps, if you have one!
Specifications: Minimum 20 pages, complete with company branded graphic design and images
How it works:
I work with you (and your team), to develop the outline of the content that needs to be in the employee manual. I then research the relevant information, collate and develop the document with your company branding.
The benefits:
Employees with access to the correct information during their onboarding period tend to be more confident to begin their new position in a business. The process of encouraging new recruits to be actively engaged in the surrounding community (through giving them the information about what sporting and hobby groups are available) is a great tool for staff retention. Basic information about the surrounding community is of immense benefit, in particular to someone relocating the area.
